From Season 1 Episode 5 "Derek Percy": On July 20th, 1969, Derek Percy abducted 12-year-old Yvonne Tuohy from a beach in Warneet, Victoria, after attempting to take her friend Shane Spiller as well. Percy took Yvonne to a remote area where he murdered her. Shane managed to provide crucial details about Percy's car to the police, leading them to Percy's connection with the Navy base HMS Cerberus. Percy confessed to the crime and led authorities to Yvonne's body. Despite being found 'not guilty' by reason of insanity, Percy was deemed too dangerous for release. He remained a prime suspect in various child murders and disappearances across Australia, including the case of 7-year-old Linda Stilwell in 1968. Percy, known as Australia's most infamous child killer, died in prison in July 2013.
