Lyncus: The Lost Capital Rediscovered!

Rediscovered in April 2025, Lyncus was the capital city of Lynkestis, once one of the most powerful kingdoms in Macedonia. The region was known for its mountainous terrain and strategic location, which made it an important center for trade and political maneuvering. After almost 3000 years of occupation, Lyncus disappeared from history after being amalgamated into the Roman Empire around 100 BC.
