Zephyr and Nordic nRF Connect SDK - Introduction and installation (v3.0.2)

In this video, I show you how to install the nRF Connect SDK v3.0.2, compile your first application, and flash it to a Nordic nRF52840-DK development board.

The SDK is based on the Zephyr RTOS, which supports:
Multithreading
Device configuration via Device Tree
Component settings via Kconfig
Hardware access via drivers (e.g. I²C, sensors)

nRF Connect SDK supports multiple protocols:
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
OpenThread
ZigBee
Matter

I also demonstrate how to use Visual Studio Code as the development environment.

This tutorial is ideal for beginners who want to get started with embedded development, IoT, or Zephyr-based projects on Nordic hardware.
