Blade 450X Sport Flying After My Maiden Flight

Blade 450X Sports Flying: After performing my first maiden flight with my new 450X, this video shows some of the circuit flying that I performed a few weeks later. I was able to advance to this model by initially flying the Blade 120 SR, then I progressed to the Blade Nano CPX as my first collective pitch helicopter, and finally I moved up to the Blade 450X all within 7 months of starting with RC helicopters. How did I do it?

Although I only have a partial total for the amount of time that I spent on the Real Flight and Phoenix simulators flying the Blade 120 SR and the Nano CPX, I do have accurate data for each model that I recorded in my personal flight log:

Blade 120 SR @13.75 flying hours
Blade 120 SR (sim times not recorded)

Nano CPX @20.5 flying hours
Nano CPX (Phoenix sim time) @6.25 hours

I believe that the models I chose to train on, the use of flight simulators, constantly flying everyday, and exercising patience while following a simple training regime has allowed me to achieve the level of success I am enjoying. Finally, I highly recommend the Blade line of helicopters for price, durability, and excellent flight characteristics. They've served me well.
