God Bless the Child feat. Don Julin and the Ol MicroTones.
This is a beautiful Billie Holiday composition! We recorded this at Don Julin's basement studio. This is part of a CD we called Sessions feat. The Ol MicroTones with Joe Wilson dobro, Kevin Giles bass, and Will Harris on drums. Our special guests on this tune are Norm Wheeler on trpt. and the Professor on Trombone. The recording of Sessions was an interesting project. We wanted to do some Standards with different stylistic treatments.
