In the video I mentioned the lake being redesigned in the 1800s.
To clarify: the original water here was a straight canal built during the time of **King Charles II**, who loved French-style gardens.

Then in the *1820s**, architect **John Nash* reshaped it into the natural-looking curved lake we see today.

Now it’s home to *swans, pelicans, and little bird islands* 🦢🦆🌿
