A powerful winter storm slammed different parts of the U.S. Midwest on November 29, 2025, causing dangerous travel conditions.
Some Filipino tourists described how the road conditions became slippery and that extra precautions should be taken as they drove along the highway.
The Chicago O'Hare International Airport recorded an 8.6" snowfall on November 29, according to the U.S. National Weather Service. This, according to the weather agency, is the highest November single calendar-day snowfall on record, surpassing the previous record of 8.0" on 11/6/1951.
Authorities urge everyone to stay cautious and limit travel only when necessary.
