The Bells of Broomfield, Kent

Where should I start about Broomfield. A tower with very 'unique' handing characteristics and an extremely long draught. We do not confess to having the best striking but if it is of any consolation, these bells are incredibly difficult to ring well - especially considering the band hadn't met for well over a year.
The original ring of three bells were rehung and augmented to five in 2014 with a Keltek Trust bell and a newly cast treble from John Taylor & Co. These were then augmented again in 2016 to six with another newly cast John Taylor & Co bell, given by Derek Hadlow, the verger.
The bells have a tendency to loose the clappering when rung fast, which is a shame as they sound at their best when being rung at a good pace. We rang some call changes and plain hunt, before some ringing down and a respectable catch in queens.
