下関市立しものせき水族館「海響館」は、2025年8月1日にリニューアルオープンしました。海響館の見どころの一つ、関門海峡の激しい潮流を再現した「関門海峡潮流水槽」では、ダイバートークと大きなエイへのエサやりが見れます。また熱帯雨林の川を再現した水槽では、世界最大級の淡水魚ピラルクへの迫力のエサやりが見れます。
Shimonoseki City Aquarium Kaikyokan reopened after renovations on August 1, 2025. One of the highlights of Kaikyokan is the Kanmon Strait Tidal Current Tank, which recreates the strong currents of the Kanmon Strait. You can watch diver talks and the feeding of large rays. In the aquarium that recreates a tropical rainforest river, you can watch the feeding of pirarucu, one of the world's largest freshwater fish.
