Well...the moment Hina fans and I have been dreading all season has finally arrived. While it was always a completely expected event, that doesn't make the actual impact any less painful.

When I first covered another version of this track from Episode 15, I was curious why it was labeled (inst. ver), since there was no other version and I assumed all OST tracks would be purely instrumental anyway. Well it turns out they were saving the vocal version of this track exclusively to insert into this pivotal moment, and OH MY GOD did it cut deep. Everything from the direction, editing, pacing, music and voice acting was executed perfectly to create this incredibly intense scene.

So in a slightly rare twist I decided to cover this song again, but with a much fuller arrangement to match this episode. We start of with a quiet guitar and vocal duet, which then grows into the emotional swell towards the chorus, as Hina starts breaking down. This big dynamic contrast is something I made sure to preserve, and this is achieved by also substantially expanding the range of the chords in the chorus, which really gives that 'punch' and fuller sound.

I think I have exhausted all my tears already after rewatching this scene 10000 times during arranging, recording, and editing. Farewell Hinabros, we stayed strong until the end. But it is finally time to move on o7
