César Franck's first testament to his genious organ works, the first one of all.
This work is (form me) a gigantic overture to the incredible fugal finale in 9:06, presented in Grand-Choeur sublimity.
This score edition is from Bärenreiter, from a VERY GOOD book presenting Cesar Franck's first organ works, published and Posthumous.
This work also represents Franck's independency from his father, it's evident when we see the first pages... Franck made some TAX calculations in those pages.
