Gravel Pros Reveal Their Fastest Bike Setups

Your bike tech can make a whole lot of difference to your ride – and this is especially true at gravel racing's pointy end, something Rosa Klöser and Paige Onweller know all about.

Felix heads to Tuscany to ride the latest Continental Terra Adventure gravel tyres and finds out how these two professional racers optimise their bikes for racing.

Klöser, 2024 Unbound 200 champion and Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto pro, balances racing with a PhD in maritime industry management. Despite only starting competitive racing in 2022, the German has rapidly earned podiums at top events like the Traka and UCI Gravel World Series 3RIDES.

With a US-focused race calendar, Onweller placed third in the 2024 Lifetime Grand Prix Overall and won the 2022 Big Sugar Classic. A full-time racer and physician assistant, she began cycling in 2020 during recovery from a running injury.
