Is Cannock's Off-Piste Worth Riding? Mindful Meet up No.4

Mindful Meet-Up No.4 set out to answer the question that’s on everyone’s lips: is Cannock Chase worth a visit with a modern MTB?

Day 1: classic trail centre laps on Follow the Dog and The Monkey (or “The Donkey” if you know, you know) with the usual inclusive vibes these meet-ups are all about. The turnout was fantastic and the energy was spot on.

Day 2: we left the trail centre behind. With expert local guidance from @thaijimbo, we dropped into Cannock’s hidden off-piste network — and it completely changed my perspective. Tight turns, rooty chutes, surprising length to some of the descents, and lines that demanded focus… this was Cannock as I’d never seen it before. Proof that you don’t need mountains for a proper MTB challenge.

For meet up no.4 we were stoked to team up with Ollie from ⁨@bikeandbeyond⁩ - a massive thanks to him and all the riders who came along to share the trails!

Big thanks to ‪@riderresilience‬ for fuelling the weekend with coffee and cake, and to everyone who turned up and made this one of the best community rides yet. The spirit of MTB was alive and well at Cannock
