Having picked up our hire car from Lisbon the previous day we stayed in Setubal and early the next morning I filmed at the station of Setubal. A frequent service to and from Barriero with ALCO locomotives was seen making quite a thunderous departure. The 1400 and 1500 Diesel Locomotive Class were the mainstay traction type used on this line. Long before the direct route to Lisbon was built, using the bridge over the Tagus. I expect this location now looks a lot more modern.
I hope this series will appeal to the European enthusiast as well as the BR enthusiasts and again feel free to comment on any material or subscribe to the channel to help support it's growing popularity.
