Learn How to Make Macaroni Bechamel
(Baked layers of pasta and ground beef topped with creamy bechamel sauce.)
INGREDIENTS
For the beef:
500g ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion
3 cloves of garlic
3/4 cup tomato sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 nutmeg
salt & pepper
For the pasta:
500g penne pasta
boiling water
salt
For the bechamel:
5 tbsp butter
5 tbsp flour
4 cups milk
1/8 tsp nutmeg
salt & pepper
cheese (optional)
Bake at 370° F until bubbling and brown on top, about 35 to 40 minutes.
