arya stark {game of thrones} | a step back from me

Arya is currently my favorite character on Game of Thrones, so here's a bit of a character study. It's mostly about how she's always known she was destined for far more than anyone ever expected of her, and about her journey so far (through season 2), and how it has changed her along the way. The world has kind of hardened her, and anyone who has read the series knows this is just a shadow of who she ultimately becomes. There's a large focus on the major event in the season 1 finale and how that completely upends her entire life and forces her to essentially become someone else. Throughout the series, the people she trusts and depends on, always end up leaving her in some way, and she seems to be inevitably alone.
