None of us can live a perfect life nor be perfect people. There is no denying that we have lied, stole and judged others in our past, we may have even done worse! However, since humanity was first created, we have never actually been perfect. Fortunately, we have a perfect God whom will love us for who we are unconditionally. We do not have to become somebody we're not for the sake of looking perfect through everyone's eyes. What's important is that we should be as close to perfect as we can by just being ourselves. Furthermore, if you are hurting but do not want to let anybody know you are hurting, then confess your problems and guilt to God. He will understand you, forgive you and will be willing to help you as long as you have faith in him and not ask for anything with ulterior motives whilst doing so. Having a close relationship with God is magical; you will perceive life differently because you know that God will always be by your side, helping you through any obstacles that get in your way. Whatever you have done in the past, you will be forgiven for as long as you ask for it and repent of your sins.
God loves you and this is true for in the bible it says: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son that whomever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
