Giyuu's father was never de/d and after Giyuu ran away Giyuu's father tried to find him for years.After Giyuu's father found him, Giyuu deside to take a break and he wents to the ward.He was there after he meets the Kamado's,for around a year. Everything goes along the movie later on,but Giyuu does not dies and it wa just an attemp.So he also takes a half year for his injures and mental health.Then he wents back to his job. And the story goes along with the demon slayer universe.So he was missing from his job for a year and a half.(During the time Tanjiro was training.)
