IHHP - Kalumburu Style 2018

IHHP dance team of Mike, Jess, Brayden & Casey were super excited to revisit the community of Kalumburu in WA for a school holiday program facilitated through the youth team of The Kalumburu Corporation. Kalumburu is a very special place for IHHP as it was one of the first visited nearly 12 years ago and returning after such a long time was incredible to reconnect with family and friends. Many of the young leaders, particular the fellas, featured in this clip were 8 years ago the young youth. Now in 2018 seeing them grown up and representing as the older generation, as leaders for their community and particularly their performances at the Deadly Styles event was so powerful and will be memorable for the crew forever.

IHHP also loved being able to deliver Kalumburu with a brand new sound system, fully equipped to run epic community discos and events. Alongside this 4 brand new guitars, microphones and all supporting equipment for live community concerts. All of this was provided by The Kalumburu Corporation allowing the magic of music and dance to continue for all to enjoy.

Massive shout out to Management and Youth team of the Kalumburu Corporation for your dedication of trusting and allowing IHHP to deliver our program and visit Kalumburu once again it was an amazing 10 days!! Huge thanks to the entire community for participating, supporting and most importantly sharing your beautiful community and country with us. We cannot wait to come back again to paradise in the Kimberly's.
