The Governance Subcommittee advises the Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee (ICOC) on policies that shape the Institute’s management and corporate governance.
Its responsibilities include recommending compensation and contracting policies, working with the President to set and monitor management goals, evaluating the performance of the Chair, Vice Chair, and President, and recommending related compensation actions. Additionally, it recommends compensation for Patient Advocate and Nurse members for time spent preparing for and participating in meetings.
The Subcommittee’s recommendations are reported to and considered by the ICOC on a regular basis.
