Size 0-3 months (on the video):
Chest circumference: 20.5"/52 cm
Gauge swatch: 16 stitches x 22 rows in stockinette stitch on the U.S. 8 (5 mm) needles = 4x4 inches/10x10 cm
Suggested needles: U.S. 8 (5mm) needles
Suggested yarn: Aran weight yarn (82 yds=75 m): 80 g. Wool-Ease Lion Brand used.
Materials needed: 0.6 inch/1.5 cm buttons 5; scissors; stitch markers; tapestry needle; measurement tape
Special abbreviations and techniques:
k – knit; p – purl
k2tog – knit two stitches together; p2tog – purl two stitches together
yo - yarn over
m1R (make one knitwise right) – pick up the strand between the previous and next stitch from front to back, knit through the back loop (1 stitch increased)
m1L (make one knitwise left) – pick up the strand between the previous and next stitch from back to front, knit through the front loop (1 stitch increased)
Wrap-Turn – wrap and turn (method making Short Rows)
You need to make 5 buttonholes (don’t count short rows): in the 5th, 15th, 25th, 35th, 45th rows
