Part 3 and final part of the Pelotau Expedition to Angola in February 2025. In this part we really start our adventure and enter the Ionas National Park in the world´s oldest desert. We camp in the desert, cross the infamous Death Acre and take a boat trip to the island of Baia dos Tigres with it´s ghost town, before we head all the way down to the Kunene river, the border between Namibia and Angola. In the middle of the desert we have to turn back, due to rivers beeing to high to cross - it is wet season. On our way back we have to do some night beach driving to hit the time slot to pass the Death Acre back without loosing our vehicles to the Atlantic Ocean. Over 400 Km of beach driving, camping in the dunes and at the Kunene river - what a great adventure.
The next Angola Expedition is planed for 2026 and 2027. Don´t dream your life away. Join us on an epic journey you will never forget and tell your grandchildren about!
