One of the things we loved most was how Birmingham blends the old and new world so seamlessly. The city has a mix of quirky, creative modern architecture alongside older buildings full of historic charm. The canals might be one of our favorite parts—they look like such peaceful places to take a stroll. And seriously, are there really more canals here than in Venice? Birmingham truly seems like a city full of character, with so much to see and explore.
