I like the Thumb Pro line but I've been struggling to get satisfactory footage out of them each time, especially since I fly in a variety of sun conditions. Nothing is worse than having a rockin' rip only to have trash footage result.
I've run a bunch of tests recently to tweak settings and to eliminate the nasty sun glare and sun flares as you'll see in the first clip. I then designed a custom made Sun Visor from TPU that slips on which turns out solves most of the problem.
With the Sun Visor, these are now my settings with no ND filter (which I prefer):
Video Quality = High
4K at 30fps
AUTO Shutter
100 ISO
Flat Color
Medium Saturation, Contrast, and Sharpness
Exposure Compensation = 0
White Balance = SUNNY
Low light option = OFF
