Dromore is a small market town situated approximately 18 miles south of Belfast on the A1 to Dublin. It also has the distinction of being known as a cathedral city due to the presence of its stunning Chutch of Ireland Cathedral.
Other notable attractions are the extremely well preserved Motte and Bailey dating back to the 12th Century. I is known locally as The Mound. Also, there are a set of ancient stocks in the square. Back in the day local delinquents would have been shamed here as their legs would have been bound and the locals would then jeer and throw rotten food at them.
Dromore is well worth a visit. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to keep you fuelled for a day exploring.
Music this time is Autumn by Vivaldi.
