On a recent trip to Three Sisters Falls and Eagle Peak I ran into a National Forest Ranger and chatted for awhile. He asked if I had ever gone to The Devil's Punchbowl I said yes thinking he was referring to #CedarCreekFalls but found out about a spot not known to me or many others known as the actual Devil's Punchbowl of San Diego. He also mentioned there's not a clear trail to it and that there planning on making a new trail to it. We were allowed access through private property but don't attempt to access from this location as it will be trespassing.
There are two pristine swimming pools with clear water and options for cliff jumping. This area gets extremely little to no foot traffic so you will more than likely encounter wildlife. If you decide to try to venture here it's upstream from Three Sisters Falls.
