In Memory of Queen Victoria Cockatoo

I can't believe it has already been one year since Victoria Cockatoo went to heaven. It still hurts so much. Victoria was my daughter, my best friend, my soul mate, and the love of my life. My life is not the same without her. I miss my gorgeous girl so much and feel lost without her. Although the first years of Victoria's life were terrible, she was always so loving, kind, gentle, and peaceful. She loved to dance and enjoy the sunshine with me. She loved to cuddle with me and give me kisses. Victoria has changed my life forever. I want to thank all of you who followed Victoria's journey for your support from the bottom of my heart. I also want to thank VC’s Hero, Dr. G, and her staff for the excellent care and for giving us those extra years with our Queen and with miracles of “Our Heavenly Father” above.🙏🏼 I am deeply grateful to my dear friend Birgit Meisel, who has been my rock through the most challenging times. Her unwavering support and friendship have been a beacon of light and comfort, guiding me through the darkness with her kindness and strength. Thank you Connie Vasquez for such a heartfelt poem that beautifully honors our beloved Queen VC.
Last, l want to thank Kelly from PEAC for all the advice and help after rescuing Victoria. In honor of Victoria, l want to do a fundraiser for PEAC to help give birds like Victoria a better life. ❤️
