The Pentax 67 or Pentax 6x7 shutter can get stuck. It will fire halfway or not fire at all, the shutter button is stuck and the film winder won't advance. The simplest fix for this problem can often be just switching the battery to a fresh one.
This is often the solution to a lot of camera problems and the first thing you should always check. It might not fix your problem...but then again, it might. And how easy is that solution!
