Organised by Richard Meredith Hardy this was a race from Madrid to London.
Many competiors trailered their aircraft to Madrid, and many failed to make it to the finish.
We flew from Hereford, and back to Hereford, but we were the last to actually finish.
We flew a Huntwing, powered by a Rotax 462, designed and constructed by myself and had the greatest adventure.
