Immersive Samo Bloom - Hario Switch Recipe

Ingredients:
📌Coffee dose: 13.5 grams

📌Total water: 200 mL at Room Temperature & 94°C

📌Grind size: Medium Coarse (800 - 1000 Microns) / Setting 6.0 on Timemore Chestnut S3 / 27 - 31 Clicks on Comandante C40

📌Dripper & Paper : Hario Switch 02 Glass & Cafec Abaca Paper Filter 01

Steps:
1. Close the switch valve and begin to pour 40 mL of water at room temperature in circular motion. (Immersion)

2. Swirl the dripper vigorously for about 10 seconds to help saturate the coffee bed evenly, and then let it bloom for 40 seconds.

3. At 00.40, open switch valve and immediately pour up to 110 mL of target volume at 94°C in circular motion. Wait until 01.20. (Percolation)

4. At 01.20, pour up to 200 mL of total target volume at 94°C in circular motion. (Percolation)

5. The total drawdown time is around 03.30 - 04.00.

6. Give your carafe a good swirl and enjoy!
