New 2024 Ford Mondeo Sport Hybrid Coupe Sedan

The Ford Mondeo might be long gone from the UK and Europe, but the nameplate is still standing in China. In a quest to boost buyers interest in the Evos crossover, the Changan Ford joint venture re-launched it as the Mondeo Sport, better communicating its close ties with the Mondeo sedan, while upgrading it with a self-charging hybrid powertrain

The five-door crossover measures 4,920 mm long, which makes it 15 mm shorter compared to the four-door sedan. The two models share the same 2,945 mm wheelbase, but the Mondeo Sport sits slightly higher with a ground clearance of 168 mm .

Inside the cabin there is a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument panel, a large 27-inch touch screen with 4K resolution, SYNC+ 2.0 system with Baidu's AI technology and L2+ Co-Pilot360 intelligent driving assistance system, wireless mobile phone charger. line The interior is decorated in dark two-tone colors. 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel, automatic transmission with knobs, B&O speakers, standard panoramic sunroof. And the rear seats can be folded to increase space for carrying things.

Mondeo Sport, however, is the most powerful of this group, as well as the largest in terms of space inside. This nearly 5-meter-long car has a spacious cabin and a large trunk with a capacity of 527 liters.

Full-Hybrid 2.0 liter engine paired with a 190 horsepower electric motor + battery. Working together, they will produce a total power of 286 horsepower, paired with an E-CVT automatic transmission.

ST-Line model, 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo hybrid gasoline engine, maximum power 308 horsepower, maximum torque 403 inch ton-meters, CVT automatic transmission, maximum speed 201 km./hour, economy rate 16.5 km./liter WLTC.

starts from ¥209,800 for the regular Mondeo Sport, and from ¥229,800 for the ST-Line trim, matching the prices of the equivalent Mondeo sedan hybrid.
