What They Don't Tell You About Entrepreneurship // Being an entrepreneur is not as glamorous as it seems. As an entrepreneur, you will face many challenges. To be a successful entrepreneur, you need to make time for self-care and know how to get grounded when you have a bad day.

I had no intention of making this video. In fact, on the day this video was filmed, my goal was to talk about entrepreneurship - specifically, how I was building my marketing company. Instead, I had a breakdown.

I was feeling the weight of hiring a new full-time employee - a weight that I'm sure many entrepreneurs with small teams feel. I started to question whether or not I was qualified to talk about how I am building my business and why my voice event mattered.

As I was having my breakdown, I had to face the emotions I was feeling and the fears I was having as an entrepreneur. I had to realize how far I've come. I had to go to the beach to get grounded and to remember where I started out. I had to take time for self-care when I needed it the most.

What they don't tell you about entrepreneurship is that it is hard.

What they don't tell you about entrepreneurship is that it requires constant evolving to overcome limiting beliefs and fears.

What they don't tell you about entrepreneurship is that some days you will feel the weight of the world and want to give up.

What they don't tell you about entrepreneurship is that if you don't give up when days get hard, you will get stronger and be able to accomplish anything.

What they don't tell you about entrepreneurship, is that you will fail over and over again. But all that matters is that you pick yourself up with you fail and keep moving forward.
