Bobby and I recently interviewed legendary trumpeter/educator Boyde Hood. For those of you who may not be aware of him, Boyde is a former member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Royal Ballet Orchestra, Victoria Symphony, CBC Vancouver and many other leading ensembles. In addition, he’s recorded extensively for major motion picture and television studios.
This fascinating video is a little longer than the norm but do yourself a favor and watch it to the very end. There are some real gems of wisdom about playing here.
