HBO Max has officially unveiled details for Welcome to Derry, a highly anticipated prequel series diving deeper into the chilling mythology of Stephen King's IT. In the sleepy town of Derry, Maine, a group of young outcasts stumble upon an ancient evil that has haunted their hometown for centuries. The entity, known only as "It," takes the form of a twisted clown named Pennywise, who preys on the fears of Derry's children. As the group of young friends, led by Bill Denbrough, delve deeper into the mystery of It, they uncover a dark history of child abductions, gruesome murders, and supernatural occurrences that have plagued Derry for generations.
