I am Arzoo Bala, a paediatric physical therapist, certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) and founder of TICKLES: Child Therapy Centre based in India.
This video is of a child with dystonia who showed improvement in her head control and ability to sit upright by using NDT techniques.
Children with dystonia struggles with involuntary intermittent muscle contractions affecting postural stability and inability to sustain antigravity postures. NDT therapeutic handling helps them to gain stability and controlled mobility.
