Every Hour Counts: Streamlining Care for CVS Attacks presented by Dr. Zeyad Abdulkader.
Dr. Zeyad Abdulkader is a pediatric gastroenterologist with advanced training in neuro-gastroenterology and motility disorders. He has a special interest in pediatric cyclic vomiting syndrome (CVS), which he first developed during his general pediatric residency at the Cleveland Clinic. After completing both his pediatric gastroenterology fellowship and his advanced training in motility disorders at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus Ohio, Dr. Abdulkader has now returned home to practice at Sidra Hospital for Women and Children in Doha, Qatar.
Dr. Abdulkader’s research interests center around pediatric CVS, including its epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment, amongst other aspects. He was the recipient of the inaugural B Li Young Investigator award in 2019, granted to him for his research contributions, and remains active in the field with several on-going studies and quality improvement initiatives.
