Scuba Diving in the World Famous Kelp Forest of Catalina Island.
In this video see what it's like to scuba dive through a giant kelp forests.

The footage from this video was captured over two trips to Catalina Island. One dive was performed from a dive boat just off shore and the other dive was at the Casino Point Dive Park. The Dive Park is a place you can literally walk down a set of stairs into the water. The dive park has depths up to 85 feet and is a protected marine area. Diving Catalina is one of my favorite places to dive in the world. Besides it being a bit cold its incredible!

Catalina Island is located off the coast of southern California and boasts some of the most beautiful kelp forests in the world. Kelp forests grow along the Pacific coast of North America, towering up to 175 feet over the ocean floor. Beautiful and biologically complex, kelp forests provide food and shelter for a diverse community of plants and animals.
