Delicious Chicken Biryani Recipe: How To Make It Perfectly | Recipe By Food Diaries

Ingredients:
For Chicken Marination
Yogart: 01 Cup
Salt: 01 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder: 01 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder: 1/2 teaspoon (haldi)
Coriander Powder :01 teaspoon (dhania)
Cumin Powder: 01 Teaspoon (zeera)
Biryani Masala: 01 Tablespoon
Orange colour powder: 1/4 Teaspoon
Green Chilli: 5-6 (Chopped)
Ginger Garlic Paste: 01 Tablespoon
Mint Leaves: 1/2 Cup
Kewra Water: 01 Teaspoon
Dry Pulm: 8-10
Chicken: 01 Kg
Mix well & rest for 01 hour
For Rice Boiling
Water As required
Cloves:03 (loung)
Black cardamom: 02(bari elachi)
Green Cardamom: 03 (sabz elachi)
Bay Leaf: 02 (tez Patta)
Salt: 01 Tablespoon
Oil: 01 Tablespoon
Green Coriander: 02 tablespoon (sabz dhania chopped)
Mint Leaves: 7-8 leafs (Podina)
Bring it to boil
Lemon Juice: 01 Tablespoon
Sella Rice: 750 garam
Boil 07 minutes on Medium high flame
For Chicken Cooking
Oil: 01 Cup
Bay Leaf: 01 (tez Patta)
Cloves: 5-6 (loung)
Black Cardamom: 02 (bari Elachi)
Star Annise: 02 (badiyan)
Green Cardamom: 02 (Sabz Elachi)
Mace Rai: 01 (javitri)
Onion: 02 Medium (sliced cut)
Fry Until colour gets golden
Take 1/3 of fry onion
Add Marinated Chicken
Fry 4-5 minutes on high flame
Tomato :02 Medium size
Water: 1/2 Cup
cover for 10-15 mintes on low flame
Add Boiled Rice
Golden onion
Green Chilli
Biryani Masala: 01 Tablespoon
Yellow liquid food Colour: 01 Tablespoon
dum for 7-8 minutes on low flame
Instructions:
Chicken Marination:
In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of yogurt, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1 tablespoon of Biryani masala, 1/4 teaspoon of orange color powder, chopped green chilies (5-6), 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, 1/2 cup of mint leaves, and 1 teaspoon of kewra water.
Mix all the ingredients well to form a smooth marinade.
Add 8-10 dry plums and 1 kg of chicken pieces to the marinade. Coat the chicken pieces thoroughly with the marinade.
Let the chicken marinate for 1 hour.
For Rice Boiling:
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil.
Add 3 cloves, 2 black cardamoms, 3 green cardamoms, 2 bay leaves, 1 tablespoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of oil to the boiling water.
Add 2 tablespoons of chopped green coriander and 7-8 mint leaves to the water.
Squeeze in the juice of 1 lemon and add 750 grams of Sella rice to the pot.
Boil the rice for about 7 minutes on medium-high flame until it is partially cooked.
For Chicken Cooking:
In a large cooking pot, heat 1 cup of oil.
Add 1 bay leaf, 5-6 cloves, 2 black cardamoms, 2 star anise, 2 green cardamoms, and 1 mace blade (javitri) to the oil.
Once the spices release their aroma, add 2 medium-sized sliced onions to the pot.
Fry the onions until they turn golden brown. Take out 1/3 of the fried onions and set them aside.
Add the marinated chicken to the pot and fry it for 4-5 minutes on high flame.
Add 2 medium-sized chopped tomatoes and 1/2 cup of water to the pot.
Cover the pot and let the chicken cook for 10-15 minutes on low flame until it is tender and fully cooked.
Layering the Biryani:
Take the partially cooked rice and spread it over the cooked chicken in the pot.
Sprinkle the reserved fried onions, chopped green chilies, and another tablespoon of Biryani masala on top of the rice.
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of yellow liquid food color over the rice for a vibrant color.
Cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid and cook on low flame for 7-8 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together and for the rice to fully cook.
Your delicious Chicken Biryani is now ready to be served. Enjoy your flavorful and aromatic meal!
