Learn the Airbus A350/A380 FMS from someone who actually uses it every day.
I’m an A350 Captain, Instructor, and Examiner, and in this video we take the aircraft from Manchester to Paris while exploring as many FMS functions as possible in a short sector.
We start with the bare minimum you need to get airborne without the ECAM protesting, then look at how we set up the FMS operationally in the real world. After departure, we dig into some of the more advanced and often-overlooked features: route editing, vertical profiles, offsets, holds, diversions, and more.
If you’re flying the A350 in MSFS or XP12 — or you’re a pilot transitioning from the A320 — this will give you the mental model and flows you need to navigate the FMS confidently.
