Indie Action Platformer Needs Artists!!! [ Game Maker ProjectTech Demo](Please Read Description)

**:::SEEKING ARTISTS&LEVEL DESIGNERS:::**

First, let me mention that when this is done, it will not in any way resemble megaman other than the fact it will be a platform shooter. I am not looking to make a megaman fan game,these graphics just best suited my programming purposes, this is intended to end up being a 100% original project, and the programming is 100% original, created by myself and will be polished and changed, given it's own flavor if you will to make it a truly original feeling game, this isn't a hack or mod.

I started a new project that is a tribute to the action platformers of old such as the obvious Megaman, Gunstar Heroes and Contra. This is just a tech demo using Megaman X sprites etc. (minus the tileset I made that a while ago and it never got used, seemed fitting for programmer art, oh and the snowflake sprites) All of the sound also belongs to it's respective creators, I did not make the sound effects or music, they are placeholders.

This video is made solely to show off the mechanics currently implemented and try to attract an artist or artists to work with me :).

I am looking for an artist_artists who would be able to recreate the look of what's happening in this video, someone who loves those old games from the SNES era, or even your pick of any number of recent indie games (it's a great look!). I would love to end up with pixel art to stay true to my initial ideas but am totally willing to compromise on that because I've tried, and I know how much more work it is that other methods of illustration_animation (I loves me some illustrator!!!:D). All the graphics in the game right now can easily be swapped out as new ones are created simply by changing filenames so you'll get to see your work implemented quickly :).

I am also looking for anyone who has experience and proof of experience working in game makers level editor, or really any level editor, game maker's is easy to learn, you don't need to know too much about coding to work with it, there are some variables that are set up in specific object's creation code within the editor, but it's easy to wrap your head around, mostly copy_paste from my example rooms. If you have experience designing levels, especially 2d platformer levels, I definitely want to hear from you if you are interested in this project :)
