Chief Keef Drops 'Now It's Over' Video To Celebrate Juvenile Detention Release
#FreeSosa will soon be retired as Chief Keef is reportedly planning his return home from a juvenile detention center. According to the Chicagoist, the teenage rapper is expcted to come home on Thursday (March 14). Just in time, Keef dropped a new video, "Now It's Over," to celebrate the day. The karaoke-style video has Keef in what appears to be his mansion rapping along to the track. "Now It's Over" is from his upcoming mixtape Bang Pt.2.
He was sentenced to 60 days due to a probation violation. During his hearing, he pled with law enforcement. "I am a very good-hearted person," Keef said to Judge Carl Anthony with tears in his eyes, the Chicago Sun-Times reported at the time. "I am sorry for anything that I have done wrong. ... Give me a chance." The judge ruled that Keef showed "willful disregard" when he appeared in a video interview holding a firearm with music site Pitchfork last June.

Keef's grandmother is eagerly awaiting his release. In a recent interview with DNAInfo, his granny Margaret Carter said Sosa plans to release a single after getting out of jail. "Keith's [Keef] got a lot of music. He wrote a lot before he went in, and he wrote a lot while he was gone," she said. "He's focusing music ... and he wants to be baptized." She then added, "I ain't worried. Keith is going to be good. His devil is all those girls. Oooh, those girls are the devil. Everybody needs to just leave him alone and give him a big box of rubbers."
