Solar Power began as a demonstration for my online class, the Musconetcong Watercolor Group. For four years it lay forgotten in a stack of unfinished paintings. When sunflower season approached, I began working on it again. As I darkened the background, the white, light struck leaves became brighter and brighter. The central flower stands proud.
