In this talk, Jac will share an introduction to Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)—a research-based approach for healing from post-traumatic stress disorder. We’ll explore how CPT helps people examine and deconstruct negative narratives about the self, others, and the world that often arise from traumatic experiences. These practices support greater clarity, compassion, and freedom from suffering. We’ll also reflect on how the insights of CPT align with Buddhist teachings on mindfulness, impermanence, and the liberation that comes from seeing clearly. This session will weave together psychological understanding and spiritual practice, offering tools for healing and awakening.
