Review of Dragontoots Turquoise fountain pen ink using a Pilot Penmanship EF nib.

Post-recording notes: This ink started life in Australia as a powder. FPN's Amberlea Davis acquired it from an eBay seller called "Dragontoots" (the ink's brand name is unknown). FPN user kestrel, turned it into liquid ink which actually worked well in FPs. And that's about all we know about this ink's origins.

I'm reviewing this now, even though it's unobtainium, in honor of Amberlea - a legend on FPN - who passed away on 04 September 2025. She was (or should have been) a hero for every person who loves FP ink. ( https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/fo... )

Cleaning is quick and easy with plain water. The color did NOT like cameras or scanners. It's a little more to the green side and more turquoise than the video and many images. In many, perhaps all, it should be more vibrant. The sheen was too difficult to photograph.

Line width (The "I" in "Ink:". Magnification is 100x. The grid is 100x100µm. The scale is 330µm, with eleven divisions of 30µm each. The line width for this ink is roughly 324µm. With 361 inks measured, the average line width is 298µm.)
