तभी उनके दोस्त जो एक महान संगीतकार भी थे रफी साहब का कमबैक कराया...इसके लिए उस महान संगीतकार को फिल्म के प्रोड्यूसर और डायरेक्टर से भी भिड़ना पड़ा...
क्योंकि उस वक्त फिल्म का हीरो 22 साल का था और रफी साहब 45-50 साल के बीच थे...
संगीतकार ने रफी साहब से नहीं गवाने पर फिल्म छोड़ने की धमकी दी...तो प्रोड्यूसर, डायरेक्टर और हीरो को झुकना पड़ा...
और जब रफी साहब ने इस फिल्म के गाने गाकर कमबैक किया तो तहलका मच गया...
फिल्म का हीरो जो कि रफी साहब की आवाज़ खुद पर फिल्माए जाने से घबरा रहा था वो भी अब रफी साहब का मुरीद बन गया...उस नौजवान हीरो ने तय कर लिया कि अब आगे से रफी साहब ही उसकी आवाज़ होंगे...
और ऐसा हुआ भी...रफी साहब के इंतकाल के बाद भी उनके पहले से रिकॉर्ड किए गए गानों को उस हीरो पर फिल्माया जाता रहा...
