Puff sleeves have a long history and a large variety accordingly. If we go back in time, we might think of the puff sleeves from the renaissance or the gothic era. More recently valentino's influence gave puff sleeves a huge comeback. In this video I will introduce you to a light and soft puff sleeve that looks like a butterfly spreading its wings on your shoulders. It's a rare pattern, where the sleeve is coming out of the front without an additional seam. The use of the fabric in bias gives the sleeve its special soft appearance.
パフスリーブには古い歴史があり、多くの種類があります。古くはルネッサンス、またはゴシック期の袖は有名ですね。最近でもヴァレンティの影響で大きな流行がありました。今回の袖は蝶々が羽根を広げたようにふんわりと肩の上で立ち上がったパフスリーブをご紹介します。しかも、見頃から縫い目なしで袖まで続いてドレーピングされている珍しい袖です。バイアスの布目を利用して柔らかく仕上げるのが特徴的です。
