Miami Heat Rumors: WAIVE Terry Rozier & SIGN Russell Westbrook?

Terry Rozier has been a focus of Heat rumors for the entire offseason as Rozier enters the last year of his contract, and he remains the focus on this edition of the Heat Report. NBA reporter Brett Siegel reported that Par Riley and the Heat are considering waiving Terry Rozier before Miami Heat training camp begins on September 30th, 2025. Waiving Rozier would save the Heat $1.7 MM in cap space, and give Miami $3.3 MM in space underneath the NBA Luxury Tax. After the Tyler Herro injury news, Heat rumors suggest signing Russell Westbrook in NBA Free Agency to help the Heat roster survive the first month of the NBA season when Herro will miss time.
