I lost my hearing in my left ear back in 2015. Since that day I have experienced fluctuating hearing for the following 6 years or so. It would go out completely, then return a short time later until one day it never returned. I have been completely deaf in my left ear since 2021 now.
I was diagnosed officially in December 2023 and have been working through recovery the best I can. It's not an easy journey and if you are looking fo answers like I was then I hope this gets the conversation started.
Today, I have the Osia 2 BAHA implant and I have recovered some of what I have lost but it will never be the same as before.
I kept the editing of this video to the absolute minimum. I simply wanted to tell my story. Thank you for watching!
