Today I played around with creating big scary ambient sounds by inducing feedback in an acoustic guitar using a small portable speaker.
Essentially, I'm routing the signal from the guitar pickup to the Wowee One portable bass speaker and pacing the speaker on the guitar body until it starts to feedback. These speakers are quite interesting as they can turn any surface into a sub woofer.

I'm then applying some processing in the form of Soundtoys Decapitator, Replika XT by Native Instruments and Soothe by oeksound.
