Sekou is a rhythm created by Mamady Keïta for his third birth son, Sekou Keïta. He's now living in Belgium.
Kelvin recalls a very inspiring story about Sekou. He was born in Conakry, Guinea. But at the age of 18, he wanted to learn about where his father came from.
He wanted to know so badly, that without any guidance from anyone and without anyone's knowledge, he travelled by himself, all the way back to Mamady's birth village in Balandugu (North-east Guinea).
And of course, when he found his father's village and his father's home in Balandugu, Mamady's family members welcomed him into the family.
So Sekou, this is a rhythm created for you by Mamady Keïta.
